Each candle is thoughtfully hand-poured in Lincoln NE and made from all natural soy, eco-friendly wooden wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oil + essential oil blends.
All in reusable jars & packaging materials. For a clean and soot-free burn.
Scent:
- Hygee: Sweet cream and maple chai, with notes of nutmeg, orange zest, maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar and buttermilk.
- To have the most enjoyable experience with these unique wooden wick candles, please note the initial lighting experience is different than a traditional cotton wick candle. On your initial light, keep the flame on the wick until the wax is slightly melted at the base of the wick. The melted wax acts as the fuel to keep the wooden wick lit.
- Always allow your melted wax pool to reach the edge of your jar or vessel (especially on the first burn!) We recommend burning your candle for at least 1 hour (no more than 4 hours) to give your candle the happiest longest life. If you burn your candle for short periods of time it’s not given enough time to establish that pool it needs to melt to the edges, which leads to tunneling.
- For safe flame height, keep the wooden wick trimmed to 1/4". Before each burn, trim the burnt wood off the top of the wick using wick trimmers or simply breaking it off with a Kleenex.
- Be smart about where you burn your candle. Burn within sight. Keep away from things that catch fire, small children and pets. Do not allow debris to inhabit the wax pool. Never leave a burning candle unattended!
- Place your candle jars in the freezer for a few hours. This allows the wax to harden and should make it easier to use a butter knife to pick out the contents. You can clean any remaining wax or residue with a warm, wet paper towel.
